Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to Asterlock Archives (the "App") and the public support website at this domain (the "Site"), including TestFlight builds, App Store builds, game content, documentation, and related materials published by Florida Logic Studio LLC ("Florida Logic Studio", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, testing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

These Terms are written for a U.S.-based publisher and are intended to be a practical public-facing agreement. They are not a substitute for attorney review. Consumer protection laws and App Store rules in your location may provide rights that cannot be waived, and those mandatory rights will still apply.

Definitions

In these Terms:

• "App" means Asterlock Archives and related game content distributed through Apple platforms.
• "Site" means this public website and its pages (including support, privacy, and terms pages).
• "Content" means the App and Site content, including code, interface, artwork, text, case data, puzzles, audio, visuals, logos, and trademarks.
• "Online League" means the optional leaderboard feature that can sync limited anonymous rank records when you enable it.
• "You" means the person or entity using the App or Site.

Apple Terms Also Apply

Asterlock Archives is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your download, installation, updates, purchases, refunds, Family Sharing, device rules, Apple ID activity, TestFlight access, and App Store use may also be governed by Apple's App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, TestFlight terms, and any Apple standard end-user license terms that apply to apps downloaded from the App Store.

If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms for App Store distribution, Apple's applicable terms may control for App Store, Apple ID, purchase, refund, and device-platform matters. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are not responsible for maintaining or supporting Asterlock Archives except as required by applicable App Store terms or law.

License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable rules, Florida Logic Studio LLC grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Asterlock Archives for personal entertainment on devices you own or control and as otherwise permitted by Apple. You do not receive ownership of the App, Content, or any associated intellectual property.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The App is licensed, not sold.

Permitted Use

You may use Asterlock Archives for lawful, personal, non-commercial gameplay. You may discuss the game, share ordinary gameplay impressions, and use screenshots or short clips for commentary, review, streaming, accessibility discussion, bug reporting, personal sharing, or press coverage where allowed by law and platform rules.

Any public sharing must avoid implying that you are Florida Logic Studio LLC, an official Asterlock account, an Apple representative, or an authorized business partner unless separately authorized in writing.

Prohibited Use

You may not misuse the App or Site. Prohibited conduct includes:

• Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with StoreKit purchase checks, entitlement checks, Firebase rules, local save systems, rank systems, or App security.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code except where law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
• Copying, scraping, bulk exporting, redistributing, or republishing substantial parts of the App, case files, evidence, puzzles, writing, images, or other Content.
• Using bots, scripts, automation, or network interception to manipulate scores, leaderboards, achievements, or purchases.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App, the Site, Firebase projects, support systems, or other users' devices or records.
• Using the App or Site to violate law, infringe rights, harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or distribute malware.
• Removing or altering copyright notices, trademarks, credits, or proprietary notices.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Asterlock Archives may offer optional in-app purchases, such as premium case packs, terminal themes, or supporter items. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store, not by Florida Logic Studio LLC.

Apple's terms govern payment methods, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, Family Sharing eligibility, purchase history, and subscription management (if subscriptions are offered). We do not have access to your full payment credentials, and we cannot issue refunds directly. For refunds, use Apple's refund request tools.

Digital items may unlock inside the App based on Apple-provided entitlements. Purchased content may change over time (for example, to fix bugs, update compatibility, correct errors, or comply with policy). We do not promise that every item will remain identical forever, but we will not intentionally remove paid access without a valid reason and without honoring mandatory legal rights.

Online League (Optional)

Online League is optional. When enabled, the App may create or use an anonymous identifier and sync a limited rank record so weekly and all-time leaderboards can work. Online League rules may include restrictions intended to protect fair play and service stability (for example, rate limits, duplicate-row prevention, and anti-abuse controls).

We may remove, reset, or refuse leaderboard entries that appear to be abusive, manipulated, duplicative, automated, created through purchase bypass, created through tampering, created for testing, or otherwise invalid. We may also pause, limit, or discontinue Online League, in whole or in part, at any time where permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

The App and Site are protected by intellectual property laws. Florida Logic Studio LLC (and its licensors, where applicable) owns all rights, title, and interest in the Content. You may not use our names, logos, or trademarks without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law.

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about the App or Site are voluntary. To the extent permitted by law, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

Copyright / DMCA Notices

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, you may send a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). Your notice must include: (1) a physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers' access to the Site.

Third-Party Services

The App and Site may rely on third-party services (for example, Apple for distribution and purchases; Firebase for optional Online League services; and Vercel or other providers for hosting and security). Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, or actions outside our control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App, Site, Online League, and Content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App, Site, or Online League will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, exploit-free, compatible with all devices, or free of data loss. You understand that local progress may be lost if app data is deleted, the device is reset, backups fail, or storage is otherwise removed.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asterlock Archives, Florida Logic Studio LLC, and their owners, developers, contributors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; lost progress; lost leaderboard position; device issues; purchase interruptions; business interruption; reputational harm; corrupted saves; support delays; third-party outages; or claims arising from your use of or inability to use the App or Site, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability for any claim relating to Asterlock Archives will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App or related in-app purchase that gave rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim, or ten U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so some limits may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Asterlock Archives, Florida Logic Studio LLC, and their owners, developers, contributors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App or Site, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your violation of another person's rights, your submitted materials, or your attempt to bypass purchase, security, leaderboard, or platform controls.

Age, Supervision, and Purchases by Minors

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Asterlock Archives only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the App, device settings, App Store purchase settings, Family Sharing, Ask to Buy, Screen Time, and any support communications.

Export, Sanctions, and Legal Restrictions

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer the App or related technology in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade laws. You represent that you are not located in a country or on a list where use of the App is prohibited by applicable law.

Dispute Resolution (U.S. Arbitration Agreement)

Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights and may require you to resolve disputes through binding arbitration instead of in court. This section applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration, you agree to contact us and provide a brief written description of the issue and the relief you seek. You can do this through the support page or by writing to the mailing address below. We will try to resolve disputes informally within a reasonable time.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the App, Site, Content, Online League, or these Terms (a "Dispute") will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if the claims qualify.

No class actions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and we agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceeding.

Opt-out right. If you are a new user, you may opt out of arbitration by sending a written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your opt-out notice must include your name, the app name (Asterlock Archives), and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration. Send the notice to the mailing address below.

Arbitration rules. The arbitration will be administered by a nationally recognized arbitration provider and conducted under its consumer arbitration rules, as modified by these Terms. The arbitrator will have authority to decide issues of arbitrability and to award any relief available in court, subject to these Terms. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

If a court finds the class action waiver unenforceable with respect to a particular claim or request for relief, then that claim or request (and only that claim or request) will proceed in court, and the remaining claims will be arbitrated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your location may also apply where they cannot be waived. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, Site, StoreKit products, Firebase features, legal requirements, App Store requirements, support processes, or business needs change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the App or Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires additional notice or consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to features, support, Online League, Site pages, or Content where permitted by law if you violate these Terms, create risk, infringe rights, misuse services, manipulate leaderboards, bypass purchases, or if continued operation becomes impractical, insecure, unavailable, or unlawful. Sections about intellectual property, feedback, third-party services, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, governing law, termination, and any terms that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable Apple terms, are the agreement between you and Florida Logic Studio LLC for Asterlock Archives unless a separate written agreement signed by Florida Logic Studio LLC says otherwise.
